 | What are your business hours? |
 | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday, Closed for Pick Up and Drop Off |
 | When can I take a tour of your facility? |
 | Tours of our facility are offered anytime during regular business hours. You can call ahead or just drop in. |
 | Why should I tour your facility? |
 | We recommend that you take a tour of our facility prior to your arrival date because this will greatly reduce the stress of the arrival on you and your pet(s). |
 | What vaccinations should I get for my pet? |
 | We recommend shots be administered at least 10 days prior to your arrival. This is to allow you time to watch for any adverse reactions to the vaccinations. Dogs: DHLPP (corona is highly recommended), rabies, and Bordatella Cats: FVRCP, rabies, and leukemia |
 | How can I prove my pets have up-to-date vaccinations? |
 | We prefer that you have your veterinarian fax your pet's shot records or call us prior to your arrival date so that we may prepare our records. Phone: 425.483.9333 FAX: 425.487.6454 |
 | Should I bring a supply of my dog's food? |
 | We feed Iams Maintenance and Lamb & Rice. We prefer to put your dog on our food while they are staying at the kennel. After trying many different foods we find that with the extra added fiber in Iams, it helps keep dogs' stools healthy. We have experienced that when clients bring their own food, its not designed to hold up to a real active environment, and they will experience looser stools. We also find less trouble with picky eaters, Iams tends to be very palatable. Dogs have also been more successful switching from their food to ours and back without premixing brands. |
 | What kinds of equipment/toys can I bring for my pet's stay? |
 | We strongly recommend that you bring a bed or blanket of adequate size. The bedding will have familiar scents on it and this will help ease your pet's transition. We also allow toys, treats, and anything you feel will make your pet more comfortable during their stay. |
 | What happens if my pet is injured or becomes sick during their stay? |
 | Your veterinarian's name and phone number is recorded and kept in our records. The veterinarian on file will be notified for major emergencies and consultations. If something happens after your veterinarian's office is closed or a non-life-threatening illness occurs, we contract with a mobile veterinarian who remains on-call 24 hours per day. |
 | Is there a check-out time when the charges change? |
 | We have arranged our system to follow the same model as most hotels and resorts. We have set a 12:00 noon check-out time. While our guests may stay beyond this time, charges for an additional day will be added to the bill. |
 | Why must I pay extra for exercise periods for my pet? |
 | We have separated the charges for each of our services for the convenience of those who want to minimize their costs. |
 | What is included in Play Times for my pet? |
 | Play Time consists of one half hour of off-leash play time in a securely fenced area with an exercise technician. Your pet enjoys play and interaction with the technician who engages your pet with balls, throwing discs, and other toys. If your pet doesn't want to play, the technicians gladly spend the time giving your pet lots of hugs and rubs. |
 | If I choose to pay for a Hike, what does that include? |
 | We have a heavily wooded area with several ponds and well-groomed nature trails. Your pet is taken on-leash by our exercise technicians for a leisurely hike through the forest. |
 | Why should I schedule Hikes and/or Play Times for my pet? |
 | We have created a very open, active, social environment for boarding your pet. Taking advantage of our exercise programs provides extra, high quality, one-on-one time for your pet and it helps break up your pet's day. |
 | Do cats need Play Times? |
 | We prefer that each of our feline guests receive time in our play area to stretch out and have an environmental change. However, some cats prefer to keep to themselves and would rather not engage in play time. We will adapt to whichever choice your cat selects. |
 | Will my pet get to play with other animals? |
 | Sometimes, pets have a very different personality while away from their families. To assure the safety of all our guests, we have designed our housing area to allow socializing within the pet's own secure space. They have a very open environment but we have also provided an area for privacy. |
 | Will my cat(s) be with other cat(s)? |
 | We prefer to keep cats separated at all times. It has been our experience that cats tend to avoid group socialization. Separation also helps prevent any cross-contamination of cat illnesses. |
