Summer Fun at Daycare

For many dogs, beautiful weather means lots of trips to the dog park. For owners, that translates into baking in the hot sun and lots of extra baths for Fido after taking a dip. When the heat is just too extreme for an outing with your dog to be fun, why not bring them to daycare? Dogs in “Puppy Town” get to enjoy:
– Playing in kiddie pools and sprinklers!
– Socializing with friends in our spacious, air-conditioned facility or outside in the yard
– Never having to sit at home while you run errands

Enrolling Is Easy – Start Here!

Welcome back, Anna!

A big welcome back to Ana, one of our wonderful cattery technicians. Ana returns every summer to visit family here and work her magic in our cattery and critter room. Ana has been working here since she was 14, first as a dog walker, and eventually making it to where she really wanted to be: with the cats! Even when she was too young to work, she’d beg her father (our long-time handy man) to bring her with him in the summer so she could be around all the animals. Anna is a cat person through and through. She says she understands them well because she just loves to be warm, clean and dry, too!

Puppy Pumpkin Ice Cream Recipe

Just mix equal parts plain canned pumpkin (not to be confused with pumpkin pie filling!) and plain lowfat yogurt in a paper cup, freeze until hard, and voila! You’ve got a yummy and inexpensive frozen treat that’s also great for their digestive system!

Pumpkin is packed with fiber and beta-carotene (aka – Vitamin A), so it’s a natural way to keep your dog’s tummy settled. Yogurt is a probiotic that is great for digestive health. Your dog won’t even know how good this treat is for them!

We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable 4th of July! Fireworks aren’t audible from inside the kennel so all of our guests were blissfully unaware of the holiday festivities.
